Alpinestars Leather Jacket Review
The Alpinestars GP Plus leather motorcycle jacket has been produced with an eye on both the motorcycle and the fashion crowd. Realising that over 85% of buyers of leather motorcycle jackets never go anywhere near a motorcycle Alpinestars have produced a jacket to fully protect the dedicated rider but that will also satisfy the fashion conscious!
For those of us who require good protection on our bikes the Alpinestars GP Plus jacket provides it all. The 1.3mm-thick, drum-dyed cowhide is soft and malleable and the perforations ensure comfortable wear although the plastic decorative patches are perhaps not to everyones taste. Foam backed Kevlar armour at the shoulders, elbows and back provide adequate protection and can be easily removed. Ventilation is also enhanced by forearm zippers and the sturdy snaps close the sleeves over any style of gloves.
The Alpinestars GP Plus leather motorcycle jacket is comfortable, good looking and should give years of protective wear. Overall a very good buy.
