12/03/07 Harley Cyrus Part 1

Cyrus is comforting Harley when Marina enters. Cyrus covers. Harley tells Cyrus it can’t happen again. Cyrus and Marina leave.

Harley tells Cyrus what happened in the stairwell again. Cyrus comforts Harley just as Marina enters and questions what is happening. Cyrus covers saying that the lawyers called about the divorce. Marina says Harley must have been so happy that Cyrus was there for her. Harley then says that she can’t do this. She can’t bring her personal life into their work. Marina takes a call in the other room.

Cyrus questions Harley. Harley questions why he lied to Marina. Harley didn’t want to tell the truth. Harley says she was flustered. She’s not quite right. Cyrus says that he’s only known Harley for a little bit but he gets that about her. She always wants to appear in control and not at ends. Harley is surprised how well Cyrus can read her. Harley says it can’t happen again. Which? Him helping her or the panic attacks? Both. Harley says defiantly and walks away.

Marina returns and finds Harley cleaning ( which according to Frank later on is what a Cooper does when they are cornered.) Marina wants to talk about the case but Harley pushes her away. She needs to make dinner for the kids. Cyrus is watching and worried about Harley. Marina walks over and says that they should go. Cyrus doesn’t hear her at first. Marina says they should go. Cyrus grabs his jacket. He says that they are going. Harley says thank you as a worried Cyrus leaves.
